There
are lots of traditions that are practiced by a number of people all over the
world during the day of Asyura, these traditions can be as diverse as the
culture and religious practices of each and every people in the world. As well
as the people of Semarang which has a unique way to celebrate this important
day, it is believed that a nightly bathing ritual at Suharto Monument will
bring fortune to some people. Yet, the bathing ritual has gradually
fade out through the years, today. The visitors, are nowadays prefer only
to take great pleasure or even make a date, here.
